Mors offers a wealth of different attractions and events.

Mors Handel: Mors has chosen to do a lot to maintain its shops and create life in the streets, so there are plenty of activities throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include ByNight, which is held several times, but especially during the summer every Wednesday with live music.

Jesperhus Flower Park and Zoo: A popular attraction for families. Jesperhus combines a beautiful flower park with an animal center. Take a journey through colorful gardens and meet exotic animals from around the world.

Wooden ship sailing - the largest in the Nordics: Take a stroll along the harbor and see the beautiful wooden ships that come one day in week 37. The harbor is also a great place to enjoy a fresh fish dinner at one of the local restaurants and also beautiful to stroll by at other times of the year.

Nature walks and bike rides: Explore the beautiful nature around Nykøbing Mors on foot or by bike. There are numerous trails and routes leading through forests, along coasts and through picturesque villages. If you are driving, we recommend a trip to Hanklit, Skarrehage and Ejerslev Havn.

Højriis Castle: Definitely worth a visit during the summer and there is a special mystery in 3 of the weeks where you are the detectives and have to solve the mystery.

 

Events in Nykøbing Mors

Mors Cultural Meeting: At the end of August, around 35,000 people meet in most parts of the city. Here, 48 hours is the gathering place for the conversation about art and culture. They bring together artists, leaders, opinion makers and citizens to take the temperature of current themes in the cultural debate and become wiser together. There are 500+ events spread across 25 stages. The event is free and everyone is welcome.

Seafood Festival: 1st weekend in June at the harbor in Nykøbing, free admission and everyone is welcome to enjoy a lively day with stalls, inspiration and fun. You can buy tickets for the big Fish & Seafood Buffet in the evening (link below).

Oyster & Mussel Premiere: In October, you can enjoy a seafood gourmet with a waiter battle, Saturday is the Oyster Opening Championship, the Champagne Slicing Championship and the Limfjord chefs are ready with tastings at 12. Saturday evening there will be a seafood long table dinner and the championship finals can be followed.
